Welcome to Dreamboat Cruises!
Thank you for your visiting our website. Our tours offer you a unique opportunity to experience the sights along the Willamette River waterfront from the decks of authentic and historic boats. Step aboard and you will immediately experience the charm and elegance of a bygone era.
Until recently, we were offering tours aboard "Ananda", our vintage 1929 Blanchard Dreamboat. Unfortunately, we have been forced to discontinue her service for an undetermined period of time to protect passenger safety and to effect repairs.
For our valued passengers and holders of unused Groupon or Living Social vouchers, we are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause. You may contact those companies for a refund if you wish. However, we have made special arrangements with Captain Bruce Hebeler and his beautifully restored 1932 Columbia River Bow Picker the M.S. Wolf, who will be delighted to honor your unused Dreamboat Cruises vouchers by integrating you and your guests into his public cruise schedule.
The M.S. Wolf
is documented by the Columbia River Maritime Museum as one of the
best-restored vessels of its era. She is often referred to as the
“Popeye Boat”. Relax in the open bow at the front of the boat for
an unobstructed and magnificent view of beautiful downtown Portland;
wilderness of areas; or many of the other incredible highlights of
the Willamette River. Periodically, you’ll receive the seasoned and
knowledgeable Captain’s narratives about the boat or the sights.
However, you’ll mostly experience the cruise uninterrupted as the
Captain navigates from the stern and you glide up in front of the
boat through the waterways. You can learn more about the M.S. Wolf by visiting http://www.portlandboatcruises.com.
Because of the physical design differences between Ananda and the M.S. Wolf, the tours are somewhat different. Captain Bruce's tours are 90 minutes in length, not 120 minutes. Also, although your cruise will take you past many of Portland's bridges, he does not provide a narrative of their histories. Finally, The M.S. Wolf is not equipped with a bathroom, so you will want to visit the restroom at Willamette Park prior to boarding. None the less, Captain Bruce and the M.S. Wolf have been delighting visitors to Portland for over 20 years, and you can expect to have a wonderful time on your cruise!
To inquire about available dates & times available for your public cruise aboard the M.S. Wolf please contact Captain Bruce directly at email@example.com. Be sure to tell him that you would like to use your Dreamboat Cruises voucher, and be prepared to bring a copy of your voucher(s) with you on the day of your cruise.
